IVF ET (In Vitro Fertilization and Embryo Transfer), commonly known as IVF, is among the most commonly used assisted reproduction techniques. IVF in a spontaneous cycle is characterized by the absence of hormone stimulation, with retrieval of the egg from the woman, followed by in vitro fertilization of the embryo and subsequent transfer to the uterus.
This technique is suitable in the case of any contraindications regarding the use of hormones and in the case of poor ovarian response. Its success depends on the causes of the infertility, the age of the patient and the partner's seminal fluid values.
